Try to apply this remedy for at least two weeks to get the good result.

Castor Oil

Castor oil is another great remedy to remove dark spots. It has got strong healing properties, which can help you get rid of age spots effectively. Apply castor oil with a clean cotton ball twice in a day, once in the morning and once at night respectively. Now massage it gently over the affected area for a couple of minutes. You can also use coconut oil, Vitamin E oil, almond oil or olive oil to cure dark spots. This method also helps you make the skin tone even.

Using Papaya

Papaya is a very healthy fruit. It contains enzymes which helps our skin to get rid of blemishes, black spots and above all acne. Rub grated fresh raw papaya on the spots. Allow it to stay for about 20 minutes and rinse the affected skin area with lukewarm water. This makes your skin look cleansed and brighter. Repeat this remedy twice every day until the spots lightens.


Sandalwood is a best antiseptic and also acts as an anti-aging agent. You can make a pack at home with some sandalwood powder, glycerin, rose water and lemon juice. Buttermilk And Honey

Mix buttermilk along with honey to form a thick paste and apply on the dark spots. Leave it for about 15 minutes before washing it off to remove the dead skin cells that were accumulated on top. You can use a mild cleansing solution for removing the dead cells.

Aloe Vera

Aloe vera is also an excellent way to remove the dark spots, the way to use aloe vera is take the aloe vera gel and apply on the spots. Wash it after 20 minutes. The aloe vera also removes the acne scars, acne marks.
